UK Independence Party Henley

Well it looks like the Henley By-Election will be on 26th June. However even the Acting Returning Officer is still only saying he “expects” to receive the writ this morning.

By-elections don’t change the government but they are important vehicles for sending messages to our Political Class, most of who these days are out of touch, professional politicians who have never had a real job in their lives.

Ordinary people know that taxes going up and up and up!
Post Offices closing down. Immigration is out of control. British troops are being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan almost every day. Now with the credit crunch and the huge rise in energy prices the economy is in freefall.

The list could go on.

The 10p tax fiasco show the Labour Government is weak and failing.

Liberal Democrats as usual are trying to make it a local election which enables them to hide their slavish devotion to the European Union and their lack of substance on real issues.

The Tories have held Henley since 1906 but few faithful Tory Voters would actually support the Blue Labour Tory Party if they looked closely at what they now stand for: more taxes, closer integration with the EU, unlimited immigration from Eastern Europe. These are all current Conservative Party policies.

So what’s the alternative?

It doesn’t matter if you vote Labour, Tory or Lib-Dem. All three take 80% of their policy instructions for the European Union Commission in Brussels. This affects almost every aspect of daily life in the UK.

So what is the alternative?

The UK Independence Party is the only real opposition.
UKIP is the only Party fighting in Westminster and Brussels to regain control of our country from the European Union super state.

Only UKIP want to regain control of our borders, stop unlimited immigration, repeal the Human Rights Act, rebuild our links with the Commonwealth and scrap the Common Agricultural Policy, the Common Fisheries Policy and the Common Energy Policy.

UKIP want what’s best for Britain.

On June 26th the only way to make a real difference is for the voters of Henley to vote for Chris Adams and the UK Independence Party. On June 26th the result in Henley will not change the government of this country but it can send a powerful message to New Labour, Blue Labour and the Lib-Dems.

On June 26th the UK needs the people of Henley to tell the Lib/Lab/Con that ordinary, decent, British people are saying “Enough is enough”
